Crisis Intervention
The National Domestic
Workers’ Movement (NDWM) provides crisis intervention, rescue,
rehabilitation and re-integration of abused or victimized domestic
workers and child domestic workers while providing legal and
medical assistance.
Education for Child Domestic Workers
In the bid to
prevent child domestic labour, rescued children are provided with
the following educational facilities:
Non-formal education (NFE) is provided to
children as a bridge to mainstream education.
Vocational Courses are also conducted to
provide additional skills for children
Cultural programmes to boost their self-esteem,
e.g International Day of Hope/ Golem festival, Children’s Day,
Christmas celebrations, Anti-child Labour Day
