Some of the issues jointly taken up by the network are minimum wages, social security problems, C 189 ratification and comprehensive labour legislation.
Internationally, NDWM is affiliated to IDWF (International Domestic Workers Federation) which has 33 other affiliates comprising of organisations in Asian, African, Pacific, Caribbean, European, Latin American and North American countries.
