The 17th National Co-ordinator’s Meet 2007
|
|
From :
24-Nov-2007 to 25-Nov-2007
The 17th National Co-ordinator’s Meet was held on 24th—25th November 2007, at Bangalore. Twenty regions participated in the two-day programme that is annually held to evaluate the work of the Movement, address the challenges and plan for the coming year.
Regions planned out the schedule of work for 2008 along six task forces: Anti-trafficking, Social Security, Networking & Unionizing, Training and Capacity Building, Legislation and Policy and Children in Domestic Work. This forum was a chance to check the challenges and bring about viable solutions so that all areas of the task forces are addressed and the vision of the Movement still carries on. Regions learned from each other’s experiences and strengthened their commitment to the cause of Domestic Workers—for empowerment, dignity and justice.
