Maharashtra govt approves Domestic Workers Bill

Tarabai, has been working as domestic help with the Vaidya family in Mumbai for the last 24 year but as she grows older, she has just one worry.

"We have no retirement benefits or anything and will have to continue working to sustain ourselves," says Tarabai.

But now Tarabai and others like her will be entitled to pension. Thanks to a bill passed by the Maharashtra assembly.
