• Minimum Wage Act for Domestic Workers in Karnataka
  The Act provides for fixing minimum rates of wages in certain employments, which are included in the schedule. Domestic Workers is one category of labour that is also included in this Act.
  

• Minimum Rates of Wages in the Employment in Domestic Workers in Andhra Pradesh
  The Labour, Employment, Training & Factories department has fixed the minimum rates of wages in employment for Domestic Workers in Part-I of the Schedule of the Minimum Wages Act 1948. The Final Notification is of G.O. Ms. No. 119, Labour, Employment, Training & Factories (Lab II), 10th December, 2007.
  

• Government of Meghalaya issues BPL/AAy cards to domestic workers
  The state government approved AAY/BPL cards to 750 domestic workers registered with the Meghalaya unit of the North East Domestic Workers' Movement. These cards will allow domestic workers to buy essential commodities at a much cheaper rate from the government approved fair price shops.
